She is married, has two boys and is the youngest of seven children with sixteen nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews. She embraces the philosophy that it takes a village to raise a child and the unfolding of a child’s learning experiences starts with positive, reciprocal relationships. Relationships are the foundational keys to fostering a child’s social, emotional and cognitive development. The guiding philosophy of CVPNS is to help parents and children to be responsible, respectful, resourceful, and resilient. These guiding principals start with the establishment of solid relationships, engagement and interactions. Everyone in the classroom matters and is a valued contributor to the program. Everyday in our classroom is a gift, and each day is “not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breaths away,” author unknown. Everyday, every action and reaction affects the life of an individual, or many individuals. It is often the small things that have a profoundly positive impact on the life of a child, or a parent. It is in these everyday moments, in these everyday interactions the ahhaa moments in learning unfold, relationships are enriched and children discover the wonder and excitement of learning along side their peers and adults in the program. Through play, exploration, engagement, and stimulating activities we nurture the creative, naturally inquisitive minds of children. Expanding upon a child’s interest with intentional and reflective teaching children learn to be responsible, respectful, resourceful, and resilient. We invite you to join us for a year of exploration, excitement, and fun while learning.
